What personal data do we collect?
Only what you choose to send us. If you email info@webstreax.com we receive your name, email address and whatever you write. If you become a client we hold the contact and billing details needed to deliver and invoice the work. We do not buy contact lists and we do not collect personal data from you passively while you browse.
Does this website use cookies or tracking?
This site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and runs no advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers and no marketing profiling. Nothing here follows you to another website.
It does count page views. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it records the page visited, the referring page, and coarse technical details such as country, device type and browser. Your IP address is used only in passing, to derive a rotating anonymous identifier so one person reading three pages is not counted as three people; the address itself is not stored by us and the identifier cannot be traced back to you. We use the result only to see which pages are read, and we cannot single you out from it. If you would rather not be counted at all, any content blocker that blocks /_vercel/insights/script.js stops it, and the site works exactly the same.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) also processes standard server request logs, including IP address, for security and reliability; we do not use those logs to identify individuals. The site loads fonts and JavaScript libraries from third-party CDNs (Google Fonts and jsDelivr), which necessarily see your IP address as part of serving those files.
Why do we process your data, and on what basis?
To reply to your enquiry, to provide services you have engaged us for, and to meet legal and tax obligations. Under the DPDP Act our lawful basis is your consent when you contact us, and legitimate use for performing a contract you are party to. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
How long do we keep it?
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months. Client records are retained for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards only as long as Indian tax and company law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Who else sees your data?
Only processors we need to run the business — email and cloud hosting providers, and accounting or payment providers if you become a client. They act on our instructions. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Some of these providers operate servers outside India; where that happens we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards.
What rights do you have?
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, correction or completion of it, erasure, and you may withdraw consent at any time. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these, email info@webstreax.com — we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18, and we do not direct this site at children.
